When Life Gives You Lemons
As someone who loves to cook, I've always found the process of searching through a box of recipe Cards to be a struggle. The cards are all crammed together, you have to take them out of the box, and your cards end up out of order and stained. To solve for this issue, I redesigned 10 lemon recipe cards and created packaging that is fun, functional, and friendly.
Protective Sleeves
Kitchens are messy places. In order to protect the recipe cards, my packaging uses plastic protective sleeves to hold the cards. The sleeves rotate around the center point for easy access, and are removable as a set or individually.
Cutting Board Base
Not only is it cute, it's also functional! The Lemon base doubles as a cutting board. Simply remove the center piece which holds the recipe cards and you're ready to chop and slice. The cutting board is equipt with rubber feet so it doesn't slide around on slippery surfaces. It's easy to store away on those days you aren't feeling lemony.
